So much for Low Lake Levels

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't be overly excited about this raising lake levels, it will the ice off faster but we need some very prolonged wet weather to really raise up the lake levels.

The lakes need it. As much as I like warm, sunny weather, I'd be happy with a wet summer--just as long as the weekends are nice smile

Buzz Killer!! wink It's not gonna fix it right away, but it'll do more now than if the ground was thawed. I'm guessing the ground already has pretty good moisture from last fall. Even if ground is thawed, most of this is gonna run-off into lakes and waterways. I'm excited about it raising the lakelevels some, but not for the flooding up north frown.

With the snow we had this winter and now the early rains the lakes will be looking pretty good early on. They needed a refill after how low they were last fall.
