We're coming up tonight through sunday and I'm not so sure the ice will be good for a truck. Unfortunately we don't have wheelers or sleds so we'll be walking out. What are some of the better places to try without having to drag a sled 2 miles? I plan on trying the Bowens area on the NE and probably Sugar point. Any others?

the ice and access are in better shape right now that they were a week ago.

a new inch of snow will fend off the warm weather for another day.

colder than they expected for longer than they thought the last few days. good news for anglers!
