even though the gophs didnt make it far in the end, they had some very good upsets throughtout the year, beating louisville,Wisconsin, etc. looking for another good year next year. also no Westbrook next year. good future luck for him!

You'll be pleasantly surprised to know that Westbrook is a junior. Jon Williams and Jamal Abu-Shamala are the only seniors.

This team and Tubby got me interested in Gopher basketball again. You couldn't pay me to watch a game before but now I can't miss one. Lots of potential and excitement coming in the future I think. Will be fun to watch them grow and compete.

Closest I got to Gopher BB in the past was moving Clem Haskins out of his office at Williams when he was fired.

westbrook kind of seemed to fizzle out toward the end of the season, and hoffarber didnt really get hot shooting the ball. They did have an excellent season behind tubby, and i think next year will be evern better!

Good season. Nothing to hang their heads about. Texas was the better team. If they played 10 times I think Texas would win 9 of them.

Next year will be the year.
