where can a guy fish from shore?

would like to try out the river but have never been around red wing any help on shore fishing thanks

The bite in front of Baypoint Park has been good, you can fish that whole shoreline and I think they have a dock as well. Cast out about 15ft off the riprap and the water will be 20+ ft deep.

Otherwise there is Covill park as well..

Thanks man love this site you can learn a lot on here. It is funny at times most people are real helpful and i thank them for it. looks like over 100 people have looked at this post and it could be that they are all like me and never been srore fishing around Red wing but who knows they might just be looking for a hot bite and i find that sad. I think this site is ment to share what we know to help others out sorry i was kinda venting anyway thanks for the info gonecribbin
