SOLD-14' Aluminum Duck/Fish Combo

Recommended Posts

I am selling one of my boats.

Its a 14' aluminum boat.

Green treated wood floor.

Two folding swivel seats.

Roll up duck blinds.

6 h.p. Johnson outboard. (197?)

Spartan roller trailer

New springs.

New bearings.

New wheels.

New Tires.

New lights with wiring.

Lifetime tags.

All in all this is a sound rig. The trailer could use paint, but mechanically very sound. The boat is painted camo and is good shape.

I will take some pic's when I get home tomorrow.

$ 700.00

I was told many people in the know not to use green treated wood on aluminum boats. I was told the treating in the wood would cause the aluminum to corrode.

I put this boat together back in 1993. I have not seen any evidence of corrison. If you are in the building trades you would know that the compostion of the treatment has changed in the last three to four years. This must be what you are referring to. This is why people that use standard steel anchoring hardware for their walls are having problems with their houses flying away.

Thanks for your concern.
