I am looking for someone to do a oil, gear lube, and an overall once over on my 1991 Johnson 40hp. I just bought the motor and want to get it running good ASAP. I live in south Minneapolis. Please help!

I've taken a couple Johnson's to Great American Marine in Bloomington behind Cub foods on Lyndale. They do good work as far as I can tell.

Otherwise I've used Ralphs Marine in Apple valley before. He works out of his garage but has everything he needs, big tanks to run the motor in, even did this when I was there showing me how well it ran. Good guy, and does a good job. May be a little cheaper than Great American.

I used a guy named Wayne up in Brooklyn Park for the last few years who works out of his garage. He worked for Crystal Pierz for most of his career but got laid off a few years ago. I really like him and he was cheap. His number: 763-425-4058.

Thanks guys! I had some others tell me about a Don in Maple grove. I took my boat there and he seens to know what he is talking about. I am not real happy about the prognosis though!
