August on Leech

I had every intention of camping/fishing leech in august (I did it 2 years ago and loved it...even though the weather was terrible and it affected the fishing) Then I watch a fishing show today and they're on the chippewa flowage...well now I want to go there! What am I supposed to do?

tough question grew up camping on the flowage, lots of fun and great fishing. there are plenty of areas to fish and plenty of species to fish for. but also have a buddy with a cabin right by leech, and again lots of fun and great fishing. my vote is go to both and if that is not an option then maybe switch off every year. i dont think there is a bad choice. good luck and have fun

Well, I could do both...I have a vacation in july as well, but was already planning on going to vermillion. Tough choice made tougher...it's a good problem to have though.

so many good lakes, not enough vacation time. its an age old battle.

Yep...I get 4 weeks of vacation...1 for grand marais in june, another for brainerd in september...I keep the other 2 for wherever I feel like going. I might as well just pick locations out of a hat.
