shallow pannies!

i fished a local lake near brainerd that is an excellent panfish lake, one of my top 5 actually, very clean and clear, any ways i started fishing in about 12 ft looking for some sunfish,i had caught them there last week, caught a few but not the numbers i had last week, so i moved right in to the reeds as they do grow very deep in this lake, and i sight fished blue gills and crappies the rest of the day! it was loads of fun, caught tons of fish and some really big fish.

we caught them shallow also, 7-12 feet today. Spring time must be close! Might be the last weekend I drive my truck, when we where done, there was a pudle of water only around my truck. Time for the wheeler or sled. The bite was really good, but then it would die, so we drilled more holes, and would catch them again...and repet the process.

yeah that was the same for us, we just had to keep drilling fresh holes
