Thought I would share and show a glimpse of what we have in store for us. This was taken last spring during a walk with the dogs along the St.Croix

That can't be the Croix. Its not rough enough. I take that back i have been out there a couple times when it was like a sheet of glass. I'm gettin the itch!!! I also want to get the motorcycle out too. We need a live count down too the opener posted. Hint hint. If anyone knows how.

--Me either!!! I was just at Sportsman's Warehouse stocking up. They are going out of business, unfortunately, and most of the fishing gear is 20% off. Can't wait for ice off--no offense to the ice fishermen.

The only thing missing from that pic is the splash of a feeding school of silvers and the sea gulls swooping down for the kill! Best sight to see on a river if you ask me

Nice captures River Dan. This is one thing I'll be doing a whole lot more while on the river. I think of all the missed occasions for a perfect shot I wish I had the camera available. I now will have a designated spot for the camera so I don't miss that special shot.

The picture I showed I was 5 minutes to late. Last spring I looked out the sliding glass door and I saw the sun was at the right angle and the whole river and shoreline and sky had this golden hue to it, amazing! By the time I got the batteries switched in the camera it was gone.
