anyone fishing forest lake yet

just wondering if any one has been catching any thing out on forest lake

fished forest on sunday morn. 1-8" eye, 1 -10" eye, and a beautiful 25" eye. fish were caught on deep emerging weedline, 16', jig and jumbo fats. caught hammerhandle and had huge muskie follow up and stay around boat for a few seconds. really big, like 48 or larger. really exciting

[18 inch Crappie]

Was out with my dad after work yesterday 3pm till about 6, the sun was out and hot. I can not believe the weeds and how green the water is already. The back bay on first we used to fish was lilly city. We marked lots of fish and could see millions of little sunnys in the water, but only got 2 really nice pumkins we let go. The lake is not what it used to be, I remember him talking me out and getting our limit of really nice crappies. Now they are small and hard to find.
