Warroad river

Is the river starting to open up yet? looking forward to trying some of the spring pike action I have heard so much about.

I was up there this past weekend and still drove on it with pickups, but it was fading fast, on Sunday the cracks were opening up and the ice is getting honeycombed bad. The fishing was good,and I too am looking forward to fishing the river.

i was up at warroad point today and it looked like the river was opening up by the restraunt and casino..

Has anybody checked the river in the last few days? Hopefully I will be able to get up there in the next couple weeks.

Made it out this morning. Fishing was slow but managed 4 pike from 34-40. Also missed 3 others.
