i live in the ely area and my dad is wanting to come up in the middle of feb. to do some ice fishing on lake vermilion.

i was just wondering which resorts are on the hot spots. we dont need anything fancy to stay in...just great fishing...are there areas of the lake that are better for walleye and perch??? any info helps...thanks a ton
