No wind?

Well the winds finaly calmed for a few days and the fish are starting to move a little. The water is a balmy 48 degrees with heavy sediment as of yet but clearing fast. Today anglers picked up walleye in 6-9 feet of water and a few big pike are starting to crowd the shallows feeding...mostly on walleye baits.

One lucky angler spent his first ten minutes on Upper Red Lake ever fighting a 42" pike while trying to help his son land a 22 inch wallye at the same time, I think he will be back again. cool.gif
