yes, not a very good lake for bass, if your out to catch some don't go to fannie

Anyone been on fannie at all recently? I've seen a few people out - wondering how the ice is out there

I dove by on sat and there where a couple portables out accross from the access in the middle. Does any body do any good on that lake?

Went out last Friday night. First time on the lake. 5 small crappies in 26 FOW. I've got more faith in that lake than just 5 small ones (5" to 7"). Going again tommorrow night I'll let you know how I do. Hopefully slush has froze some, pulling was a pain.

Yes out from the landing on the south side by the church. Anywhere from 16 to 26 FOW we found fish. A lot more suspended up 4 ft off bottom on the deeper side. These were the more active fish but still finicky and small. I might try Little Stanchfield on my next outing.

Ice conditions still the same 4" good ice with lots of water and slush. I thought it would have improvedsome over the last few days, guess not. I think it's going to take a while. In the mean time we'll just have to catch some fish to make up for it.

Are there any pike in this lake?

I live close and was thinking of spearing here.

Any advice?

Or is there a better lake to spear?

I saw a couple of spear houses out there, but i could'nt tell how they do. A lot of the lake on the west side is reed filled and shallow with a few deeper holes near by. I think it would be worth a shot.

Where is the Church? Went out on Fannie tonite 24FOW just to the north of the landing in the middle. Caught 3 small ones but there are alot on the Vex.
