Putting on the feedbag!

Fish are really starting to put on their feedbags as the fishery heads into arguably the best "BIG FISH" period of the year. Don't be afraid to fish larger baits this time of year as bigger fish will be looking to put some weight on for the upcoming winter. FYI you don't have to head to the east end for big walleyeys! Shhh! Greatest time of year right here boys! One stop had some beautiful rainbows on hand yesterday! I traded several in for several slot fish yesterday. I swear some of those Rainbows had fear in there eyes as they were lowered to the marble eyed lurkers. Send your kids off to school and load up the boat this is big fish time! Good Fishing!

I bet he was fired up! I've been on the water the past several days, and need to get a few things shored up here around the house. I guided over the weekend, and can't wait to get out again asap! Yep that is truly a great area. Don't think for a second that I haven't been pinpointing a few locations for the permanent come this winter either! Congrats Buddy! That is a fish to be proud of, and you know how tough a true 10lb fish can be to come by. How many inches?
