2000 Palomino truck camper, loaded. REDUCED !!!!

13 posts in this topic

2000 Palomino truck camper, exterior is no perfect interior is very good. Has roof A/C, refrigerator, heater, hot water heater, 4 burner stove, bath with shower, canopy, brand new Carbon Monoxide sensor and LPG sensor, CD player + radio.

I used it on my long box pickup but will fit short box too.

Works great for 2 people camping, hunting etc. and you can still pull your boat behind. Rated 3 people sleeping (I would say only 2).

Price at $ 2700 without mattress or $ 2900 with brand new Sealy queen size.

Hmmm, short box and pulling a boat, I am not 100% sure of this, I have a long box Dodge and it ends right past bed, so my hitch is open from above, and I pulled my 22ft Lund last weekend. You might have to come on over and check it out to be 100% sure

Valv- when you say the exterior is not perfect, are we talking rotten stuff, or just superficial stuff?

Hey Valv,

On the first pic of the camper I see the Starcraft that you have for sale on here in the background. They would make a nice matching set up for someone grin.gif

Tom and I had a decent bite Monday but it's been tough 2 of my last 3 outings. Bored a bunch of holes and hopped.  Got ours on mostly plastics of every configuration.  Had to keep moving to stay on more aggressive schools of fish.  This meant we continually left fish to find cooperative fish.  When the bite got really tough wacky rigging a micro noodle was the only ay to get them to go.  Had several between 9 and 9 1/2 inches.  These were all deep flat fish near a deeper hole.  Midday was best for us.  Slow in the morning and again later in the afternoon.

Got out yesterday. Plenty of ice, not too much snow. Got a few gills and a few crappies. Light bite. Not exactly fast and furious, but fun to be out. Heading back today.

Yes the pressure has decreased the walleye population. My question is this....what is the target walleye population goal? I do believe there may have been an abundance of fish a few years back that would not be healthy for the lake either. Are we at the "proper fish level" now and this will be the typical pattern moving forward or where are things at? Only lake surveys and biologists can tell that story. You still see some reports of excellent fishing but I have heard a lot more poor reports this season than prior years but there are some environmental differences also....(snow levels, pressure ridges, cracks).   I don't make the trip to red to be able to fill my freezer.....I make the trip for my kids to have action and make memories. This last trip was a slow one but we had a beautiful 36" pike come visit and made some great memories as it tangled all the lines for my wife and daughters. I was called back to the house to assist as I was off setting up the portable for our next searching spot. Made it just in time to pull it out of the hole for her! Lots of smiles and some wide eyes from my youngest daughter! Can you provide a date for this photo? Nice shot for sure, thanks for sharing!
