south metro jiffy carb rebuild

does anyone havea place in the south east metro they would reccommend getting a carb on a jiffy auger rebuilt at.

What is the auger doing? is it leaking gas? not starting at all? generaly just cleaning the carb and a new plug and diapram will get it running good again.

i had mine done in so st paul on concord street,there is a small engine repair place next to the motorcycle dealer,sorry i dont remember the name or phone #,didnt cost that much and only took a day or two but that was a couple years ago

I'm not excatly sure what it includes, but I stopped in the lawnmower/snowblower shop on the frontage road just north of Gander in Lakeville last night and they had a sign to do auger tune-ups for $50.

50 bucks is a good price for a carb rebuild i would go with that. but if you want to experiment your self you can take it off there isnt much to them just get a carb kit for it and soak it in carb cleaner for a day and you should be fine.
