I noticed on the Dnr Web Site, That the crappies are limited is that true? Also where do you start fishing the lake. For those from that area has anybody fished the pot holes named Merwin (?) off of rd 21 just before Cromwell. Thanks later the load

Eagle lake has a few crappies in it. Looked for the 30ft hole right in the middle of the lake. Eagle is more of a perch/wallyee lake just fish the many breaks and humps you see on a lake map... Strat: ps. Never heard of "merwin" maybe Granny can help out there...

Strat you drive by Merwin all the time wink.gif . You probably know it my a different name though. Pretty poor lake. Only fish worth targeting is pike and they run on the small side. It freezes out pretty often.
