Greenbox-transducer

I have a Greenbox I picked up a few years back. Just out of curiousity should i be able to pick up my jig with it? or is the transducer bad? Got rid of my vex last year and I need something to use until I have enough money saved up to buy something else.

Many years ago I used my green box for ice fishing crappies. I could see my jig on it. It worked great for getting the jig right in front of the crappies.

Yes you should be able to pick up your jig. Try the adjusting the ducer alignment and of coarse up the gain setting. Its been so long and I don't remember if the Green Box had the suppression adjustment or not, you'll need to turn the suppression down if it does.
