Planning ahead to next summer!

Recommended Posts

We are looking for ideas on lakes in the area that would be producing fish in mid-July. Walleye, bass and crappie are fish of choice. Would like a lake with a choice of resorts on it. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Upper Red Lake is supposed to be opening up for walleyes for the '06 opener. I have fished it for Crappies since '98 and I have probably caught more walleyes than anything (and I obviously let them go).

That may be a good one to check out. Huge slab crappies, probably pretty good walleye action, gator pike potential .

Dakota,

There are so many lakes in this area it is hard to send you to one or two...A safe bet is to just get here and stop in at Bluewater Bait or any other bait shop and they will let you know what lakes are "turned on"..

Hope this helps,

Beef
