Where is The Sportsman?

We come up there every year and have never found a fun place to go for a beer or two with the exception of Zorbaz at the west end of OT. Great pizza too and the local honeys were looking nice, but they get $3.50 for a freakin' bottle of beer at that place! Where is this place the Sportsman you guys talk about? We stay on Clitherall.

Wow, we stay at Oak Park, right across the highway from Clitherall (town). Haven't actually been through the town itself in several years, that probably explains why I didn't know it was there.

Clitherall has a post office and two bars. One bar is the Sportsmans and the other is Bonnie & Clydes. They are right across the street from each other. The Sportsmans is an awesome place. The karaoke is great on Friday nights, and the gals come from Fergus Falls and all over the place. Saturdays are really good also, and I guess during the summer it stays pretty busy most of the time. Tim and Carolyn (owners) are super people. Stop on in! Don't pay Chuck N. 10 bucks to sing, though. Chuck, won't be up there until Saturday the 2nd, so we'll have to do karaoke on the 8th.

Oh ya, dat Sportsman's is a heckuva great place for sure, den. Me and da vife Helga like going der, we do. Great folks and atmosphere. Too bad dey quit taking and selling dat lutefiske pizza, ya know. I don't know vat dis worlt is comink too. Maybe dey did not like it ven my lutefiske breath melted da microphone last time I took and sank karoke. Bevare of ChuckN wit a microphone, he vill take and sink you Vayne Newton songs at yer table until you pay him to go avay.

Ve liff closer to Underwoot, and if you are taking and passing dat vay, dey have goot trinks and peers for a reasonable price at da Legion Clup. Goot food, too, at reasonable prices. ChuckN is an hearty endorser of da Peterwhich sandvich, he is. Der are goot for sure. Sorry, dey took and quit da lutefisk pizza der, too. Some Fridays and/or Saturdays dey have live music. Just look out for my cousin Fiske Sverdrup in der, he'll take and talk yer ear off, he vill.

I hope youse guyse take and have a goot time vereffer you take and go. Just look out for us olt Norvegians. Sometimes ve moof kinda slow crossink da street ven ve have been in dem pars.

I am 75% Norwegian and nothing is better that a warm lefse with butter and sugar, but I do NOT do lutefisk. Fish flavored jello IMHO.
