Chisago lake channel

Anyone catching anything in the channel,thinking of taking the day off of work on wednesday to take the kids out for some panfishing.Thanks!

Not sure if they are getting any panfish in the channel.. a better bet would be the south end.. but I cant tell you how good the ice is. I ssaw 2 guys out there last friday...not sure how good the ice was though. There is plenty of ice in the channel however, just not sure how many fish they are catching. I would call that baitshop on HWY 8 just out of forest lake.

EXUDEDUDE,how do I get to the south end of the lake off of 61?what exit do I take? is there another access or side of the road parking?THANK YOU!

I received a ticket parking on the side of the road on the south end of the lake late last year.

Yep.. be carefull they have it marked no parking in some areas. Its new last year so I am not exactly sure...

How to get there... If comming from the south, Turn off(right turn) of highway 8 at the golf driving range(dont remember the name of the road.. but its right at that light and driving range. I am pretty sure its the second light. The first light is right at that bait shop that used to be called mikes bait. Follow that road till County Road 83(again right hand turn) If you get to the primary school you missed 83... Then your there.. Chisago will be on your left hand side.
