Bryn Mawr Mobil station in North Minneapolis, just a few blocks north of 394 on Penn Ave, on your right side.

In a pinch, waxies can be had at most pet stores and a lot of fish shops carry feeder minnows that are nothing more than those orange colored crappie minnows. Generally the feeder minnows are .99 a doz.

There is/was an Asian grocery store on West Broadway and 26th ave. N. that sold bait?

Robbinsdale Farm and Garden is advertising bait...there is a bait shop on Bass Lake Rd. about a half mile on the West side of #169...Vados bait on North Central ave. (#65)...the hardware in Osseo sells bait, as does Daytona Market, west of #94 on #81.

These are'nt in the metro area proper, but if you are in the North metro area, they are an option.
