Quick connects on Clams and Fishtraps?

Can anyone tell me how to attach the quick connects on my Clam fishhouse. These are the ones that go on the end of the spreader bars. I cannot force the connects in. Any tricks or advice? I have to get them in by Friday.

I'm not sure if I can help much. Mine seemed to go on fine. I'd go down to the Outdoorsman's Headquarters and ask Dave. I can't remember if he sells Clam or not, but he'd probably have some tricks up his sleeve. Or see if Woody is around out in Ranier. I'm sure he can come up with something to help you out. Good luck!
