It's about time

It's about time - been praying for zub-zero temps since last april - about time it finally showed up. Pulled the magnum III out of storage in September - high hopes back then - pulled it again last Friday - some weather jocky told me I should expect -5 for a daytime high over the weekend.

They don't start biting til the really cold stuff sets in - watch and learn - the bite will turn on tonight

I'm with you. I've had tremendous success when the overnight lows were in the -20's and the daytime high was no more than 0. There is a reward for those who persevere and buck the cold and wind.

I've got all my stuff nearly ready. I just hope my old truck will start after sitting out in the cold all day.

Will be curiuos to see the posts occuring over this next week - WC shows a nice stretch of sub zero readings - don't 'ya love that windchill

Got a fresh batch of oak trimmings from a local cabinet shop yesterday - yes I'm the guy with the wood burning stove - and tonight's menu is crappie 'leluer with a hint of swedish kring la PIMPLE.
