Does any one know what the ice is like on Shakopee Lake. Shakopee is 2 miles south of Eddy's resort on the southwest side of Mille Lacs. Does the lake freeze soild with the Rum River going through it? If any one knows any thing about Shakopee Lake please post here or email me [email protected]

The lake does freeze with the rum running through it. many people fish on this lake for northerns. i dont know how the walleye fishing is on this lake. but as long as you stay away from the inlet, the lake is a safe one to fish on. many prople also spear for northerns and they are driving their 4-wheelers on it. i havent been around the lake in about a week so i dont know if there is any cars on it yet.
