Was just up there a few hours ago and walked out from Sportsman's landing about 100yds. A good 6" of ice. They are driving ATV's out and there are a few smaller permanents on the ice too!

I didn't see any open spots from my viewpoint. I was told that the lake never really opened up from that wind last weekend except where the water between Stella and Wash flows which cut a path out a ways. First time I've been up to Wash since this summer.

The perm's were to the SE of Sportsmans. I didn't go way out but be sure to check the ice yourself if you go. After tonight there should be a good layer built up.

I wanted to get out this morning but the wind was already gusting and with no snow on the ice I didn't feel like parasailing today. grin.gif Drove by quite a few lakes and saw very few people out.....guess they had the same thought. The one guy I did see was across the lake retrieving his portable!

I fished the NE side on Friday. 6.5 inches of ice everywhere I checked. There were a few ATV's out, including one out near the deep hole. The fishing was slow. I'm going out now to do battle with the wind.

Fished Washington last night from 4-6:30pm. No bites and only graphed a couple fish.

Ice was in good shape.
