I was reading my 2005 ice fishing magazine and it had droppers in it. Do droppers work on URL because i am heading up in February and i want to know if i should set up my rods wit some droppers.

Why wouldnt you bring droppers on every trip? At times they are deadly. I just make my own from old spoons or jigging raps or Chubby Darters. Bring them its not like they take up a hole lot of room!

I've never had to use them on URL. If you locate fish, they usually bite. But as NL said, you can always make some if needed.

I would sugest that you bring some droppers up. When ever i fish crappies around here during the winter they always seem to work. Just bring a few up though
