Marcum LX-3's: How close can they be?

Moose-Hunter

Question

Howdy All...

My buddy and I both bought Marcum LX-3's this year. When fishing out of my Otter Lodge, the LX-3's will be fairly close to each other. How close can they be? 2', 3'...what? Any hot tips for when we're running two almost side by side?

Thanks...

Shouldn't be a problem. Just set your IR at a different setting than your buddies. You will love that LX-3.

I have fished 5' from another LX-3 and didnt have any problems with the interference. Just tap the IR and your set.

You wont have any problems fishing next to other LX3's.I have fished next to 3 LX3,all my buddies had to get one after i did grin.gif, and we hardly ever have any interference. When we do,the IR button clears it right up!Awesome units.

New to the Flashers, have an LX-3, and was wondering if you are 5 feet from your buddy, would you pick up his bait? I understand the "cone" and the deeper you are the larger the diameter picked up. Has this been an issue for anyone? Or both Jigging for the same red bar in a "competetive" nature?

LX-3 IS A FANTASTIC UNIT, JUST HIT THE MAGNIFICATION BUTTON TO AMP YOUR BAIT AND IT WONT PICK UP THE OTHERS AROUND YOU,

THATS WHAT I FOUND WORKS . OR BUY A SCOUT AQUA VU CANT MISS ANYTHING THAT WAY. GOOD LUCK.
