Just drove around the lakes at lunch. Little spots of open water on Calhoun. Harriet had a lot more open water. I saw a big bald eagle sitting on the ice right near shore close to some open water. I grabbed a parking spot and just sat and watched it for a while. Way cool!

That's very cool! I've seen some loons over the last few years but I've never seen an eagle. I did see my first deer in the bird sanctuary recently. I was driving around the lake by the main beach & saw a big doe with 2 fawns near the fence. Vern
