Hillmans update.

I talked to Buddy Hillman last night and he said he has 9 to 10 inches of ice around his road. He did take his mini van out there but dont attempt it until the resorts give you the go ahead. There the best judge of the ice and the lake, however, its no guarantee you wont find thin ice.

Give Hillmans a call for up to date ice info.

Buddy said he fished last night for a couple hours and ended up with 7 crappies and a bunch of walleyes.

Man, you are tooooo funny ol' timer. I hope there's 30" of snow on the lake this winter, that will take some of the sas out of you. I wanted to eat this fish but Joel needed some practice on his painting according to chauncey!!!

Let it snow, I have a different plow truck this year. There wasn't much left to salvage off the old one this spring. It isn't really fair to question NINETOE's painting when you bring him a sheepshead and want it to look like a crappie. But at least you finally got a "16 incher".

I can not imagine Buddy stopping plowing enough to have a party. I mean like,,,,once a day haul him out some more gas and food. Ever since he was a wee little guy with a V-Plow on the front of his "bug" the guy lives to plow great ice fishing roads. Damm I like that about him!!!!
