Public land. Hayfield/Kasson. Need help!!

I'll be in the Hayfield/Kasson area for Christmas and want to walk for some pheasants. Anyone know of any public hunting land in that area?

One of my favorite WMAs is just on the north side of Oslo. It's hard to see the entrance to the WMA, as it's just a little side road off cty road 13, on the west side. There is a lot of public land once you get in there, and I saw plenty of birds there last year. Another spot, if you go just a few miles east on Hwy 30 from Oslo, you'll find 2 good WMAs just across the Olmsted/Dodge line on the Olmsted side. The one on the north side of Hwy 30 is Nelson Fen.
