Hillman 12/14/04 report

Went out of Hillmans at 9 am 3.3 miles out in 13' of water. There was actually a crappie bite between 12-2pm ? Caught 5 out of 7 on red tick jigs. Stayed till 8pm and no evening bite? Oh well. Bring your hankerchiefs cause your gonna cry releasing 19-22" walleyes. Released all 20 I caught safely back till 2006.

hey thanks for the report. sounds like you had a fairly productive day. How much ice was there? thanks

There was 9" solid inches of ice. I was a little spooked at about 3.7 mile because there was a crack with water moving up and down. So I went back to 3.3 mile and started drilling only to find plenty of ice. Good luck.
