Walleye action

My in-laws live north of Cohassett. We do quite a bit of pan and bass fishing in the area when I am up there over the weekends, but they don't hit the walleyes too heavy. I am having trouble finding walleye lakes to hit for the morning and evening runs. I have fished Moose a couple of times with limited success. I just don't have the time during my short visits to figure out or find decent spots or depths. Any suggestions would be great. Here are my emails: [email protected] and [email protected]. you could give pokegama , trout in coleraine,wabana,splithand,cutfoot,northstar all those lakes have a good pop of walleye in them.

Sounds like you need to make more time. It says in your Bio that you are a school teacher, you of all people should have time over the holidays to fish fish fish. That is if you can fit it into your busy schedule. Don't your inlaws share info with you??

Here is another trick, if you go the north end of Bowstring, maybe in the same general vicinity you fished in last year, turn your "new" two way radio to channel 3 and holler here fishy fishy they will come swimming to you. Try that once.

I am sure I will get some fishing in over the holidays. Being a teacher and all. I am sure you have taken the week off as well. I hear someone needs help with a basement. As far as heading back up North, not sure if it is in the cards. I think you know how in-laws are, especially these in-laws. I have tried locating that two-way on Bowstring last year, no luck. Have you been up there yet. I was going to try it last weekend, but -26 changed my mind. I am trying the "dead sea" (aka: Osakis) tomorrow. Nice bio you have.

Wife put the kabosh on going up last weekend and everyone is flying into town tonite for the holidays so there will be no going up this weekend. I told her I was going somewhere the weekend after newyears otherwise she needs to get a lawyer. Thinking about going to Devils Lake that weekend. Try out in front of our cabin and a little to the east for some crappies and some bonus eyes.
