Bass_Bully
Anyone have a place to take a gas auger in for a tune up in the south metro area?
0 Corey Bechtold
How bad is your auger? Augers are pretty simple machines and can usually be repaired by oneself for relatively cheap. What brand is your auger and what's the problem? Maybe I can help you before you go out and spend good money at a repair shop. 0 Bass_Bully
It's a Jiffy. Towards the end of last winter my idle was very high. I could take the cover off and turn a screw to get it back to a normal idle but then when I used it again it would idle to high. After I would punch a hole the idle was so high that when I pulled the auger out of a hole it would bring half the lake with it and flood my house. Any info would be apprecitated. 0 CatManLee
Adjust your air/fuel mixture. If you adjust the air/fuel screws as it is running, you'll get it fixed yourself. You'll have to play around with it a bit, but it's sure cheaper than bringing it in for something so simple. You will have to adjust your idle again as well. GOOD LUCK...
