Walking out of Dennys

Do you think I could get into fish within walking distance fom Denny's? I will Be up there Wenday and Thursday of next week with my 7 year old. Would like to try for some perch and eye's. The kid is all pumped about going. First big trip with Dad.

lights I would think that you would be able to get into some within a half a mile of Dennys. Here's a map with distances in 1/10th of a mile to 3 good looking spots

I used to hammer the eyes and perch in the stumps by Denny's at first ice. The bite for eyes was right before dark and a little after lasted a half hour tops.
