ice conditions on rush

I was wondering what the ice thickness is on rush. I know the east end has been froze over for a while now. Any info would help. Thanks

People have been fishing in the bay for about three weeks now and what I've seen is that the ice has been around 5" thick the whole time. There is probably more ice where there isn't snow on the ice. With this cold weather I would think it would be easy to find 7 or maybe 8 inches in some spots. There has been people driving fourwheelers on the ice since the first time I was out (Dec. 3).

As for the fishing, I've been out 3 times so far. The first time I caught 4 walleyes one being 22 inches. I caught 2 the other times I was out and of course, a couple of northerns too.
