Wright County Area Ice?

I live up north in Bemidji, and we are fishing, haha!, but anyway im coming home for Christmas to see the family and was wondering if there is ice forming down there?, most importantly, Clearwater and Waverly. Thanks for any reports.

I drove by the east end of Clearwater yesterday and there were 2-3 ft waves across the lake. Cedar was open as far as I could see from co rd 6. Howard Lake is open and I didn’t get a chance to check out Waverly, but I can only guess there is no fishable ice there either.

My brother just called me from Buffalo and told me Buffalo lake froze over during the day today. North side is froze pretty smooth but the south end froze pretty jagged. Should make a couple inches of ice tonight.

i love it, cant wait to get out to Buffalo. Hope there's enough ice this weekend to get out. i found a few spots last year which produced limits of crappies, northerns and walleyes all out of the same hole. there are some great spots out there. Thanks for the reports!
