These events are a lot of fun! laugh.gif Trophies for the heaviest weights and drawing for lots of great prizes. Plenty of folks available to help you get on fish if you don't know the lake.

I'd also add that the Cool Cats event on 03-05-04 on the Horseshoe chain will be a lot of fun. I can't wait to fish this event. Here's some more info on it as well.

I would love to say 'CAR POOL', but I'm going to be down at a buddies Friday night in the TC's and will be going out from there!!

Feb 12th - Rush Lake - CJ's on Rush

will be the next IceLeaders event for those that might be interested!

If you haven't attended, I have been to the Medicine Lake and Minnetonka Lake events and have had a blast! If you are worried about not having fished the lake before or not knowing if you'll get to catch fish- DO NOT WORRY!

At the Medicine Lake event, Matt-Dietz-Pete-helped groups out by pointing them in the right direction. I think the directions they gave were great because the fishing that day was spectacular!

At the Tonka Lake event, Matt-M.Bruer-Crappie Tom helped people out to different spots. PAUL even went out of his way to create maps for people to use within the spring park lake bay for those that had never fished that part of thelake (this doesn't happen all the time).

SO come out and join the fun!

Next event is on Rush Lake, which will be a mixed bag event. Rush has some potential for some real nice crappies and bluegills. Matt and others have fished the lake previously and should be able to help out in having you catch a few fish cool.gif

Rush is also one of the better large Pike lakes I have ice fished. Panfish should be fairly cooperative. Crappies are very abundant and usually predictable. There is an excellent Walleye population, but it would be the first thing I would do in the morning if I planned to get any.

I have fished Rush quite a bit, as my parents live there, and I will be there to share info and hopefully point people in the right direction.
