I'm not sure if you really were replying to my post or just replied to the last post in my thread. No where in this thread have I compared Favre to Culpepper and saying Favre is the better QB this year. I've even said that that at the end of each of their careers I believe both will be considered one of the greatest QB's to play the game. You can't even recognize I'm giving Culpepper compliment.

Yes if I had to choose right now between Culpepper in his prime or Favre at the end of his career I would go with Culpepper. Who wouldn't.

Favre is in the twilight of his carrer, no doubt. But when he was in his prime, he was one of the best. Here's just a few interesting stats,

Only three-time winner of the AP NFL MVP award

Passed for more then 3,000 yards for the 12th consective season in 2003 to extend his own NFL record

Through 2002 only four other quarterbacks had a better carrer passing rating (montana, young, warner, and garcia)

So many other stats like touchdowns, passing yards etc... he is in the top 3-5 in.

Favre is a shoe-in for a first ballot hall of fame. Some of you need to come to terms with that. It is not healthy to go through life with such bitterness and hatred towards the greatest qb of all time.

Favre is and has always been a great leader/player etc... I don't think anybody (even Viking fans) can argue that. I'm just disapointed that he has to wear that ugly uniform

He also deserved to be the third QB choosen for the pro bowl this year ahead of Vick! I'm sick up the leaugue shoving him down our throats.

I agree with you totally on the Vick. I wonder if this is where fan voting pushed him in, because stat wise he doesn't belong or even close to being there. The only thing he has going for him is Atlanta's record, and I can assure you it isn't due to Michael Vick.

On that hand other than Culpepper and McNabb where the only clear cut choices. As a Packer fan it would have been nice to see Favre there, but to be honest he was about as good as a handful of other QBs(with Vick not in that group).

You should read the star and trib today pretty good article about Farve vs. Culpeper. The article was saying how Farve hurts his team as often as he helps it.

No one can deny Farve has had a pretty good career, I would be pretty surprised if he didn't get in the Hall of Fame 1st try. In packerland it seems that people still think Farve is 27 like Culpeper.

Why did you only give the stats through 2002? Kinda drop off on ya?

Actually, I just received my new calendar (joke a day this year) from my boss. Last years claendar (which was a packer fact a day) was still on June 16, 2003. So I've spent half the day reading packer facts. This calender of course covered up to the 2002 season, which is where I was pulling my info from. I updated one the stats 'cause I knew Favre passed for >3,000yds again last season.

Though I am a vikes fan I would have to agree that Favre should have made the probowl way way way before Vick.

As far as culpepper's dance, it is so rediculous he should stop doing it, though it is always fun to laugh at him.
