Tice hinting

Is Tice hinting that he might jump ship or is he posturing to get an extension? Even though he is not at the top of the Washington Husky's list what about the Seahawks job if Holmgren gets fired? I wouldn't be surprised if we finish 500 of less that McCombs has a change of heart and doesn't re-sign Tice. I think that if Ty Willingham doesn't have a college head coaching job by the end of the NFL season I think that he should get consideration since he had some ties to the team. I think Tice is better suited as a position coach at this time in the NFL or head coach in college. He is too chummy with all the players. You've heard the term a players coach. They do not seem to work out in the NFL. Look at Pete Carroll. He didn't do well in the NFL as a head coach, but good as a position coach or a coordinator. And now he is doing good at USC as a head coach. I think Tice is similar.

Tice is the major problem the Vikes have.

For three years he has had the fire power and can't put it together.

Being a player's coach and one of the bros is cool but he isn't

an intelligent leader. Last year he couldn't stop the downward losing streak

And after three years we still don't have a defence

At today's press conference, Tice said everything is great.

He's comfortable with the standings if they get the job done.

But if they don't, he will be the specials team coach at Miss. State
