I checked grand yesterday, the lake is pretty much open. We need some cold weather in this area to make the lakes safe. I wouldn't advise ice travel at all in this area.

Hopefully by X-Mas thing will change drastically, would hate to think that while I am at my sisters I couldn't be able to do the annual X-mas day fishing with the relatives....
