hey there, i was just wondering how the winter pike fishing is on lake irving and any possible spots to look for some. thanks!!

The channel comes in on the south shore and snakes around the east side in front of Irvingboro then west to the outlet. Set your tip-ups just off the top of the break in 8ft or so. Only put your minnow down about four feet so that anything coming up the break will see it as well as anything sitting on top of the break in the 6-7ft range. The places I'd try first are the turn in front of the landing at Irvingboro and closer to the public landing.

hey dapro, last i heard people were getting them right at dusk in front of the boat launch in 18-22 feet of water

Out from the landing is the classic early ice spot. Have caught many there myself.
