Longville area ice

Is there any safe ice on any lakes in the longville area? As of last weekend Little Boy still had quite a bit of open water. I was wondering if there are any smaller lakes or bays that will be walkable this weekend. Thank you.

We have a place up there. When we were up last weekend I saw 3 people on what they call little woman or sqaw bay. I think the only thing they get there are sunnys I think.

Woman Lake Inn was sold and the new owners take over at the end of the month, Dec. 29th as I recall. I think it is staying open in the meantime.

We stopped in there last weekend. It sounds like it is going to be turned into a supper club by the new owners. I hope it keeps some of its "watering hole" charm. But, the new owners will be making lots of changes... games moved into one room in the back, different menu, etc. I liked it as a low key, easy going hang out. The lake already has a "Patricks".

I agree, I've got a place in the area and Woman Lake Inn is a favorite for rainy days. I hope they preserve some of it's charm, and don't try to force something upon its regulars that will not be well accepted. Crossing fingers.

If you haven't heard the new owner is Billy the dupty sheriffs girl friend. If you guys know them there will be a BAR.

I was at McGuire's formerly the Woman Lake Inn on the night the new owners took over.

The place will be changing some. More of a fine dining type place. I got this from one of the old owners that still is working there.
