where to go

Ive never been to the upper red lake but this winter on the way to the lake of the woods were stoping there to try and catch some crappies. But its a big lake and i aint got a clue where to go on it. if someone could give a brief area ie... noth side or southwest or what ever or u can give me a specific location off a gps lol. thanx for your help.

Walkerhound, first welcome to the fourm second try Hillmans or Westwinds both are on the east side of the lake on your way to low. You can also get on at the south end out of Rogers and a couple of others. We always go out of Hillmans. Good luck

your choice, west wind, bear paws, or hilmans on the east side out of waskish. hilmans road is out the furthest right now, but they all have been going out with roads marked.

the south side has some thin ice issues right now with the open water/ ice heave situation, but it should be ok too, in a couple weeks. you can get all the contact info here or on the new ibot site.
