Little Rock Ice

I went out Sunday and the bite slowed waaaay down. I caught about 30 perch, but they were all very small. Still looking for the crappies.

I was out Sun. evening and same thing, nothing but small perch and most of them I caught on eurolarve. I was in about 17' of water on the break. The ice was 10" thick were I was.

I was out today moving my house. I didn't get a chance to drop a line, but I saw a LOT of people were. There were a couple small truks driving out and a few ATVs. I see there's a pretty big group near one of the points to the right of the county park landing. How's the fishing in that area? I still plan on a Thursday a.m. getaway. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Please don't go to (Contact US Regarding This Word) on here, though. We don't need another fish-free lake email me at Tonyjor2atcharterdotnet if you can help. hey guys I plan on going to this lake for the first time this weekend. Can anyone give me some general ideas of where to start..i.e the break?? Where are the best spots to get on the lake as far as safe ice, parking etc. I will be coming up highway #10. It looks like theres a landing there but it also looks like the river flows thru which cant mean very good ice. I will probably try to find the park access on the north end... any help is appreciated. Thanks, Pete

I WENT FISHING YESTERDAY FROM ABOUT 5-7 PM. FIRST TIME I TRIED THE LAKE, WENT OUT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE COUNTY ACCESS JUST OFF HWY 10. WALKED OUT WHAT SEEMED LIKE 1/3 MILE AND GOT INTO 6-7'FOW... PROB. GOT SET UP A LITTLE LATE, I GOT 2 NICE 11" PERCH RIGHT AWAY THEN NOTHING, BUT THAT MAY BE DUE TO THE FACT THAT PEOPLE WERE DRIVING 4-WHEELERS 25 YARDS FROM ME EVERY 15 MINUTES???!!! HAD 12" OF ICE, STILL CAN'T BELIVE I SEE FULL SIZE TRUCKS OUT THERE. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE IF YOU GO THROUGH YOU'LL BE STANDING UP BECAUSE THE WHOLE DARN LAKE IS 5' DEEP.LOL HOPE THIS RAIN DOESN'T MESS UP PEOPLES HOUSES AND THE ICE.

I went out today from 7am til 1 this afternoon. Caught 1 12" eye and about 50 perch. I also may have had a small northern on my rattle reel but he got off before I could see him. Rained off and on all day and people were still driving full-size trucks out. I was directly east of the county park landing in about 8-12 FOW. Bite was very slow and the perch were very jumpy. They wouldn't even strike unless the waxy was perfectly still. Any movement and they would bolt. Does anyone know where there's a weedline in Little Rock? Everywhere I drill is sand and muck with no weeds at all.I Hope everone else is having better luck than I did. But hey, if you like to eat 8-10" perch, there ya go

Just got in from fishing, ended up with three nice walleyes, between 16-19 inches. Fishing still was slow fished from three till six, and only caught one more small walleye, and had a northern snap the line but that was it!! Fished in 15 feet of water with nobody else around me within 400 yards. I'm a big in fishing away from the crowd on little rock, unless you know of a hot bite. Does anybody know of any craps being caught yet? The spot I was fishing was a spot I have caught crappies the past two years, yet didn't see one suspended fish on the Vex.
