Haven't been up in the area since before thanksgiving so I'm looking for some current ice conditions, especially Melissa. Has anyone been out there or know of the ice conditions out there. Hoping to get home to do some fishing this Saturday and wondering what lakes will be safe bets for ice conditions. Also, does anyone by chance have any reports from the Mahnomen/Waubun area. Thanks for any help - LaVoi

A few reports are that there are a few people fishing out on Sallie catching decent eyes. 14-17". Shiner minnows on plain hooks, first big breakline out from shore. about 200 yards. Tough walk on the slippery surface. Ice about 4". Also a ton of folks fishing Dead Shot Bay. Don't know how their doing.
