Ice Show goodies?

Did anyone from the St.Cloud area make it to St.Paul this weekend for the ice show? I was down there on Saturday and had a great time. Didn't run into many FMer's (wouldn't be able to tell who was who anyway wink.gif )! Hoping to see some of you out on the ice this season.

Anyway, I picked up Lindy's new grub box that was just issued out to vendors at the show. I have been waiting for this since I saw it in ICE TEAMS annual publication. If any of you were at Genz's presentation in Nov, he had one of these things!

I also picked up some great panfish and perch lures and a the "ever famous" LED flashlight from Jrs tackle!

How about you guys- those that made it??

Hi Captain, I took my youngest kid to the show on Saturday for the last 2 hours. We were able to take it all in but most of my time was spent chasing him around grin.gif At least he got a free Frabill bucket. The only thing I picked up was a pair of flip mittens. These are water resistant which will be nice. I also saw those grub boxes and was told that they were the hottest thing going. It looked like something I could make for free at work so I passed on it. I also met some other FM'ers and had a good time. My only complaint is that they should have the show in St.Cloud! It would only make sense to have it there.

It's Ice time,

was there on Sat for a few hours. I didn't have any trouble spending my "birthday money". I picked up one of those led flash lights from jr's, a bucket rack for the atv and one of those stands for the aqua-view.

One thing I saw but didn't buy--because I think I can make one, was the single minnow catcher. Basically a small closed on one end 1/2"tube with a handle that you stick in the minnow bucket and one swims into the dead-end and then you got em.

Went there Friday afternoon.

Came home with the grub box, fish-trap ice anchors, and a walleye sweetheart rod from thorne bros.

Lots of nice things there, wish I could win the lottery to afford some of those permanent fish houses.

Yeah- that grub box was the hottest thing on the floor. I had been in to Scheel's & Gander Mt. I don't know how many times asking about the things. I finally talked to the fishing mgr at Scheel's and he said Lindy had to take the product back to the line. Apparently they had issues with the lid not staying on after 3-4 uses.

The new ones that were being sold were the new ones! I LOVE LINDY grin.gif
