east rush access to ice fishing

I noticed last year people coming out on to the lake from the access at the rv park on the south west end of east rush. Can anyone park or drive on there? Any fees? Walking from the main resort on the east side is quite a haul with snow on the ice to get to the south bay. I don't have an atv.

There's a dirt road near the Park/Condo area on the Southwest side, northwest of the slough portion of East Rush. I've observed people driving on there some winters, others not. I have no idea if it's legal or even still there.

Cory might know. You're right though, that is a killer walk, but it is good exercise?!?!

That is private properrty. I would advise going out of either Petersens, or the public access. The owners are good people but they got sick of the traffic through there property.

Is Petersons the RV Park on the same side of the lake as the public access just down the road? Or is it the other rv park to the southwest side. Sorry, I don't know the name of the RV Parks very well. Thanks.

Petersons is Rush Lake Resort. Right by the big old red barn as your heading for the public access, comming in from I35.

Yes it is just down the road from the P.A. on East Rush. They have a sign about by the road advertising bait.

Thanks for the replies guys. Been up there a dozen times and never paid attention to the the name. Hope to get up there next week before christmas.
