Is the Spring lake access still open?

Anyone been there lately? I am thinking of getting out early saturday for some gills n crappies. I know where they are hiding, just need to get my boat in the water

If you're up for some first-ice adventure, that crappie hole over by Neilpout's house has two and a half inches of solid clear ice on it. Was out there last night for about an hour. Call me if you decide to come over, I'd join ya for a couple hours. Also, last night Neilpout directed me to a sunny lake nearby that has walkable ice on it.

Wow, your crazy! You know, if I was just going by myself I almost would be tempted! I am taking a couple of guys from fishers of men out tomorrow morning for the last open water lake fishing of the year, its gonna be 45 degrees so you better stay off that thin ice, dont wanchya doin the walrus again! Besides we got all winter to ice fish on nice thick ice But we do need to go sometime its been a long time tell Neelpout I said hi
